육신이라는 그릇 속에 갇힌 채로도 그것의 요능妖能은 끊어지지 않았다.

포식에 짓눌리고 있다 해도 피의 원천을 마주한 것이 아니기에,
그의 식해識海는 그저 의식한 순간에 펼쳐지듯 세상에 범람했다.

눈에서부터 퍼지며 육체 자체에 번지는 듯한 기이한 열감.

ㅡ 그리고 그 모든 것이 이 세상 자체를 이루고 있는 [설정] 중 하나일지 모른다는 것에서 비롯하는 혐오를 품은 채.

회망도가 허공에서 뒤틀린다.

"나도 이해를 못하겠어. 그 가치라는 걸 모르겠다고. 정말로."

참맹회斬盟會의 핏줄을 전승하기 때문에 그의 존재 자체에 삽입되어 있던,
그 또한 설정으로만 알고 있을 뿐이던 [죽음의 숙명]을 보는 감각이 눈을 뜬다.
