실제로 메타팔스의 시민들은 삭막하고, 이기적이며, 욕심을 부렸죠.

메타팔리카에서 배급 나왔을 때 거짓말을 한다거나, 눈치 보면서 정량 이상을 챙긴다거나.

그들을 삭막하게 만든 건 분명 세상이지만, 아이러니하게도 그 메마른 마음은 통합군 다음으로 문제였습니다.

만약의 만약을 더해서 통합군을 이상적으로 바꾸는 데 성공해도, 시민들이 여전히 욕심을 부리고 보급을 탐냈다면.

결국 메타팔리카는 완성되지 못하고 실패했겠죠. 성공해도 절대 본편처럼은 되지 못 했을 것이고.
