그리고 단 일초만에 펼쳐진 그 세가지 동작이 증명한다.

세가지 동작이 펼쳐지고, 발해진 후 되돌아오는 중에,
녀석의 발걸음이 몇번을 거듭해서 교차함에도 바닥에는 진동 하나 없었음이 입증했다.

녀석에게는 있던 것이다.

바로 이 검법이 요구하던 검의 뜻이.

번쩍이는 광류光流가 검의 움직임보다 앞서 흐르듯 허공을 점하고 흩어진다.

그리고 빛 속에서 흐르던 검이 끝내 되돌아와 광하검혼의 기수를 취한 채,
녀석이 목검을 다시금 납검하듯 예식을 표할 때.

금수저에 천재에 미소녀이기까지 한 녀석을 보는 눈이 달라질...것도 같았고.

그렇지만 끝마치고 난 뒤 뭔가 대단한 걸 펼쳤다는 듯 묘하게 삐죽한 웃음에,
그렇지 않을 것도 같다는 걸 느낀 채, 목검을 손에서 내려놓았다.

" • • • 원래는 이 목검도 그냥 홀랑 들고 도망가려 했는데."

"너, 너무 내 걸 마음대로 가져가는 거 아냐 ? "

"너도 내 체육복 계속 가져가서 멋대로 쓰고 있잖아.

아무튼 • • • 그렇지만 이런 걸 봤는데 그렇게까지 양심없이 굴 수는 없겠네."

수련검법만으로도 저런 움직임을 보일 수 있을까 ?

모를 일이다.

왜냐하면 하광검문에 소속되지도, 소속될 돈도 없는 나는,
하광검문에서 전수하는 심법을 익힐 수 없기 때문이다.

검법과 내력이 감응하는 것이야말로 제대로 된 무인의 기준.

그렇다면 나는 이미 반쯤 정답에서 벗어난 채 시작하는 것과 다름이 없다.

"어머니한테 목검은 사달라고 해봐야 할지도."

그럼에도 이 검법을 수련하고 싶다는 생각이 없어지냐 하면 당연히 없다.

도리어, 이 검법을 수련해서 방금 전에 본 걸 따라 해보고 싶어졌다.
