전도성이 강한 다양한 물질은 천상의 번개, 즉 아지르(Azyr)의 힘을 담을 수 있습니다
— 지그마라이트 부적(Sigmarite talismans), 드래곤 오고르(Dragon Ogor)의 심장, 팽모라 뱀장어(Fangmora Eel)의 둥지에서 화석화된 연체동물의 껍질 등이 그 예입니다.
충분한 전하가 주입되면, 이 물질들은 소량의 천상 에너지(아지르의 힘)를 생성합니다. 전투 중 번개를 방출하는 것은 가장 단순한 활용일 뿐입니다.
그레이워터 패스트니스에서는 아이언웰드 아스널이 번개 배터리를 이용해 새로운 형태의 동력 기계를 실험하고 있으며, 아타나시아(Athanasia)의 강령술사들은 이 배터리의 불꽃을 이용해 데드워커(Deadwalker)보다 훨씬 강력한 괴물들을 되살립니다.
전투용 사용:
번개 배터리는 원거리 무기로 사용할 수 있으며, 다음의 특성을 가집니다:
피해(Damage): 4
속성: 폭발(Blast), 마법(Magical), 사거리: 짧음(Short)
동력원으로 사용:
번개 배터리는 기계 장비나 탈것의 동력원으로도 사용할 수 있으며, 이 경우 해당 장비의 속도(Speed), 근접(Melee), 명중(Accuracy), 방어(Defence) 중 하나를 1단계 상승시킵니다.
이 효과는 중형(Medium) 또는 대형(Large) 오토마톤(Automaton) 혹은 탈것에 대해 하루 동안 지속됩니다.
단, 이 효과를 사용하려면 먼저 DN 5:2 정신(제작)(Mind (Crafting)) 테스트에 성공하여, 기계가 안전하게 전력을 전달받을 수 있도록 개조해야 합니다.
실패하거나, 하루가 지나면 번개 배터리는 방전되며, 다음 비활동기(Downtime)까지 충전되지 않으면 다시 사용할 수 없습니다.
확장 규칙 (GM 재량):
거대(Enormous) 이상의 오토마톤이나 탈것에 사용하고자 할 경우, 시험(Test)의 난이도(DN)가 1 증가합니다.
