피엔 콥스가드 사관 후보생
피엔은 사관 후보생으로, 모운홀드 수비대에서 복무한 지 겨우 두어 달 된 가장 어린 저항자입니다.

그녀는 도시 성벽 밖에 있는 거대한 묘지 들판인 루웬란트에서 끝없는 망자들의 무덤을 돌보는 가업을 피하기 위해 수비대에 입대했습니다.

나가쉬를 독실하게 믿으며 성장하고, 루웬란트 주변에 모여드는 언데드 시체들과 영적인 존재들과 함께 생활하면서, 피엔은 언데드의 불안한 모습에 익숙해졌습니다.

네크로퀘이크 이후 그녀를 살려준 유일한 기술은 그들에게 익숙하다는 점뿐입니다. 다른 이들이 비명 지르는 망자의 모습에 공포로 얼어붙을 때, 그녀는 침착함을 유지합니다.

네크로퀘이크가 그녀의 신의 행동 때문이라는 것이 피엔에게 명백해지면서, 그녀는 나가쉬에 대한 헌신과 자신의 필사적인 생존 본능 사이에서 갈등하는 신앙의 위기에 빠집니다.

그녀가 밤이 끝나기 전에 신을 포기할지, 아니면 위대한 네크로맨서의 언데드 선물(undeath)을 받아들일지는 지켜봐야 할 일입니다.
